About the role

Mediablaze is looking for a Community Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to adapt to a brand’s tone of voice on their social media platforms.

Ultimately, you will be your clients’ voice of their brand and manage all community communications. You’ll be the main point of contact for their customers whilst also getting involved with social media management tasks such as content planning and creation, scheduling and insight reporting.

You must be a social platform obsessive and a clever copywriter. You will have an impressive understanding of social media and the value it can offer our brands. You will be required to be on top of social trends and to have an eye for creative content both written and visual. It is vital that you understand the nuances of social media formats; if you know your IGTVs from your Reels, this job is for you.

About you

As a Community Manager at Mediablaze, you will...

  • You are passionate about connecting brands with people on social media in authentic and interesting ways.

  • You understand the ins and outs of all social media channels and what role each one can play in engaging customers.

  • Strong written skills. You should be able to write copy in a variety of different voices and have extremely high standards when it comes to grammar and spelling.

  • Curious. You are always on top of the latest social media trends and get excited by any new social media features.

  • You have had previous experience in a similar role or customer service focused position.

  • Any proven experience managing social media communities or content is a bonus!

As a Community Manager, you will…

  • Independently run the day-to-day activity on the social media channels of 2+ brands

  • Actively respond to and interact with customers on all social channels on a daily basis

  • Understand and maintain the brands’ tone of voice at all times

  • Using scheduling tools to post monthly copy and asset content

  • Performing cross-channel content research and building into client-facing presentations

  • Support the team in day-to-day tasks to help with the smooth running of the accounts

  • Using data tools to create basic insight and performance reports

  • Source influencers and maintain our influencer database

  • Keep on top of social media trends

  • Supporting Mediablaze’s social media channels

What we're offering and your wellbeing

Location (2021):
London (SE1) when we are able to return to the office, but home working until then. We provide a laptop and second screen (if needed).

Working Hours:
Our standard working hours (9.30am to 5.30pm) are staggered slightly to take the edge off the busiest commuting times.

Flexi-Time:
Our flexi-time policy covers the hours 4pm-5.30pm which enables you to move that time to earlier or later in the day, or another day that week (subject to meetings and agreed deliverables).

Annual Leave:
25 days per annum, plus an additional day for each completed year with the agency (capped at 28 days in total).

Birthday:
You don’t work your birthday. That’s another day in the bag which could take your total annual leave to 29 days.

Commute:
We have a company Ride to Work Scheme with an annual pot assigned. It's healthy enough for even seasoned cycling aficionados (of which we have a few already).

Home Set Up:
Home Office Equipment Scheme (same principle as Ride to Work) to enable you to create a comfortable and safe home working environment.

Pension:
Standard company pension which is easily moved around should you wish.
