About the role

Mediablaze are looking for an experienced paid media specialist, with a proven interest in App marketing to provide maternity cover across a number of exciting clients.

You will be your client’s media and performance mastermind, working with them to build, test and execute web and mobile apps growth and acquisition strategies that will deliver your client’s overall business objectives with a sway towards mobile apps.

You will be expected to create media and performance strategies across all digital channels, helping our clients find the right formula of creative, content and performance tactics to reach their goals. You will have a strategic mindset and be obsessed with experimentation; constantly striving to get better results whilst not being afraid to get your hands dirty managing the intricacies of campaigns while also inspiring the creative team to develop work that is best optimised for performance.

You will have a passion for data and be very comfortable with analytics tools (think mobile attribution partners, MixPanel, GA, native platforms dashboard) to seek out opportunities within our client’s customer journeys, identifying purchase barriers and then building tests and measurement frameworks to quantifiably move the dial.

Ideally you will come from an agency or client digital background, having hands on experience with digital tools is a must (paid social media ads dashboards) as is the confidence and gravitas to inspire and advise clients.

Experience you'll need

As a Paid Media Specialist at Mediablaze, you will...

  • Be able to build effective media plans from client briefs, defining channel mix, targeting groups, objectives, and planned deliverables.

  • Run multiple digital campaigns, managing traffic and performance, across various marketing channels including, but not limited to, all social media channels, GDN, affiliates and Apple Search Ads.

  • Advise clients and in-house design team on copy, creatives, formats and best practices.

  • Track, measure and report all paid media marketing campaigns from various channels (social, email, affiliates ) in one single source of truth report.

  • Lead conversations with clients and inter agency teams on performance, including advising them of smart audience-buys, planned and delivered deliveries,, KPIs and results.

  • Educate clients and internal stakeholders on campaign performance metrics and optimizations, making sure that the recommendations are based on past benchmarks and/or experience.

  • App store optimisation for both iOS and Android apps.

  • Be the leader in mobile attribution to managing, optimising and reporting on mobile app campaigns.

Location (2021):
London (SE1).

Working Hours:
Our standard working hours (9.30am to 5.30pm) are staggered slightly to take the edge off the busiest commuting times.

Our flexi-time policy covers the hours 4pm-5.30pm which enables you to move that time to earlier or later in the day, or another day that week (subject to meetings and agreed deliverables).

Annual Leave:
25 days per annum, plus an additional day for each completed year with the agency (capped at 28 days in total).

You don’t work your birthday. That’s another day in the bag which could take your total annual leave to 29 days.

We have a company Ride to Work Scheme with an annual pot assigned. It's healthy enough for even seasoned cycling aficionados (of which we have a few already).

Home Set Up:
Home Office Equipment Scheme (same principle as Ride to Work) to enable you to create a comfortable and safe home working environment.
