London content agency Mediablaze, appoints Kieran Alger, former editor-in-chief of T3, one of the UK’s biggest multi-platform consumer technology brands, to bolster its editorial team.

In his new position, Kieran will oversee propositions for outdoor apparel brand Merrell (UK & US), global antivirus software provider ESET (We Live Security and Go Explore), retail chain Tesco and electronics manufacturer LG to name but a few and will be responsible for building communities through the development of branded online content strategies.
During his time at Future Publishing as editor of T3.com, Kieran was responsible for generating 250% growth in YoY revenue. From 2008 to 2014 he developed and successfully delivered a content and social media strategy that saw traffic grow from 1.1m page views to 16m, plus the creation of a 250,000 strong social network including 130,000 YouTube subscribers.

In addition to working at T3 Magazine, Digital Editions and T3.com at Future Publishing, where he was responsible for managing the editorial, commercial, SEO and social media strategy, Kieran worked on a freelance basis for Men’s Health UK (Menshealth.co.uk), where he was the website’s resident ultra runner and blogged about everything from ultra running challenges, through to wearable fitness technology. He also held the position of senior editor, Sport and Men at AOL UK where he edited AOL’s brand men’s lifestyle channel, building it into a 15m views-per-month product.
